Melissa Suzanne George from Australia is a model, actress and inventor. Her career began at home in Australia and then moving to Hollywood and found immense results. George is a Perth native who was interested initially by artistic skateboarding and dance. As she entered her teens, she started modeling and in 1992 won Western Australia's teenager Model. In the following year, she was on the screen in an episode of Seven Network's soap-opera Home and Away. Dark City was her debut on the large screen. After that she acted in supporting roles in Alias The Limey, Down with Love as well as other productions. In 2005, she appeared in the film remake The Amityville Horror as the lead female character in the mainstream of Hollywood. She's among America's most sought after Australian ex-pats.
