Her childhood included a host of TV personalities, like Karla, the host of Univision's Despierta America. As well as Andrew Martinez, her father. is vice-president for Safety, Security, and Business Resiliency in Southern California Edison (SCE), one of the biggest electric utilities in the United States. Andrew Martinez serves as vice director of Safety Security and Business Resiliency of Southern California Edison. SCE is one the nation's biggest electric utility companies. Its primary goals are employee safety, corporate security, and business resilience. He oversees the programmes and initiatives at SCE. Martinez offers safety managers across the company the support mentorship and quality programs needed in order to meet their group safety goals. Prior to his new position, Martinez was the director of Safety Training and Compliance for Transmission & Distribution at SCE. He previously served as director for Safety and Compliance for Power Supply and Operational Services. Over the 30-year period he spent at SCE, Martinez served in various leadership roles in programs focused on improving efficiency and remedial actions. These included positions at the San Onofre Nuclear Generating Station SONGS where he was responsible for the security of employees and public.
